Quality Policy Statement

As a successful operator in the facilities maintenance industry, Essential Safety Solutions (ESS) are committed to pursuing quality and continuous improvement in every aspect of our business.

 

This quality policy statement covers all permanent employees, casual employees, and sub-contractors of ESS, working in every ESS facility and client location.

 

We will:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain, essential safety equipment in compliance with the relevant legislation, industry standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Ensure the delivery of a quality service by integrating the relevant legislation, industry standards, codes, and ISO 9001 requirements into all ESS business processes and activities.
  • Provide client services that exceed the professional standards prescribed in relevant agreements, contracts, codes, and statutory obligations.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Carry out all business activities in a sustainable manner by integrating the ESS Environmental Policy into everything we do.
  • Seek to continually improve our business activities through a commitment to our integrated management system (IMS) which complies with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Seek to continually improve the IMS by identifying and progressively eliminating those activities that do not add value but add costs, and using technology to develop better systems and solutions.
  • Involve all employees in an environment that encourages initiative and innovation.

  • Management leading by example and being accountable for achieving quality outcomes.
  • Complying with ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems — Requirements.
  • Ensuring our employees are trained and competent in all aspects of their work and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring all employees understand and take ownership of the ESS quality and service standards.
  • Always being professional in our work and appearance.
  • Regularly reviewing and refining our Policies, Procedures, and Systems to improve their efficiency and effectiveness, and maintain their relevance.
  • Continually improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) by reviewing and our systems, processes, and methods.
  • Providing leadership and direction to encourage new ideas, technologies, and innovations.

 

Objectives

ESS will exceed client and key stakeholder expectations by:

  • Maintaining its ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems certification.
  • Implementing, maintaining, monitoring, continuously improving and documenting our integrated quality, safety, and environmental management system via the ESS Integrated Management System (IMS) to maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards,
  • The active involvement of all employees in an environment that encourages initiative and innovation along with identifying those activities that do not add value but add costs in order to eliminate them from the company’s processes,
  • Maintaining an up-to-date Knowledge Base, accessible to all employees within the Uptick component of the IMS,
  • Identifying and meeting all legal and other requirements related to our business, and
  • Consulting and communicating this policy and all other relevant elements of our system with relevant parties as appropriate.
